CANCELLATIONS

Any participant cancellations must be received by Montreux Energy up to the stated registration deadline for each event, typically two weeks prior to the day of the opening reception of each event.  You may submit your cancellation in any of the following ways:

  • E-mail: info@montreuxenergy.com

  • Fax: Montreux Energy Denver: 303-534-2501

  • Mail: Montreux Energy LLC, PO Box 6484, Denver, CO 80206 USA

Cancellations received up to two weeks prior to an event  will be charged a $200 cancellation fee.  After the two week cut-off date, cancellations may not be made, however substitutions may be made at any time.

Unexpected events or emergency situations can sometimes force a participant to cancel; we request notification as outlined above.  If a participant does not cancel and does not attend, the participant is still responsible for payment.  Participants are responsible for all hotel and travel reservation cancellations.  You must contact the hotel directly and you will be charged according to each individual hotel policy. Our cancellation policy applies only to Montreux Energy roundtable participants.

If Montreux Energy must cancel an event due to causes beyond our control, we will seek to reschedule the event in the original city or region within a six-month time period.  Participant registration fees will automatically apply to the rescheduled event.  Should a participant not be able to attend the rescheduled event, their registration fees would be credited to any other Montreux Energy event held in the United States in the ensuing 12 months.  Also, from time to time, it is necessary for Montreux Energy to move a Roundtable to location other than that originally booked.  In the event this happens, participant will be notified by email, fax, and telephone of the new location.

Your credit card will be charged on the day your roundtable registration is received.  No charge is made to your credit card for hotel or travel purposes.  Your registration fee covers all roundtable sessions, proceedings, and meals and coffee breaks specific to the event.  At certain receptions a cash bar will be on site, and in such cases no part of any registration fee can be applied to alcoholic beverages at any time.
