Purpose:

The Montreux Energy Roundtable is an "off the record" discussion among the public and private energy industries, their technology, engineering, legal and other advisors, the financial community and senior government policy leaders on the risks, opportunities, and challenges of worldwide energy investment.  The objective is to provide a deeper understanding and awareness of the major investment challenges facing the industry.  Each year we address an overall theme and the major drivers of global investment, such as supply, demand, market liberalization, privatization, the availability of capital.  We look at new frontier producers and markets, important shifts in corporate strategies and industry structure, regulatory shifts, and emerging technologies.
