Overview:

The California Clean Energy Roundtable is a high-level, invitation-only dialogue among leaders in the oil & gas, power, and automotive industries, along with governments, regulators, and financiers. Critical energy security, technology, policy, investment, and emissions challenges are discussed in a practical, five to ten-year investment horizon. What are the opportunities � and costs � of lower carbon fuels, cleaner energy technologies, and sustainable mobility? What are the barriers to market reform? How can California�s leadership and vision be a model for other regions of the world?

The 2008 Roundtable will build upon our highly successful discussions over the past three years at Half Moon Bay, San Diego, and San Francisco. The format will again maximize participation among all delegates and will ensure a highly interactive debate.

How can fuels and technologies such as LNG and renewables be integrated into generating and investment portfolios? Can clean energy be secure energy? What bridging fuels have true potential? What costly fuel or technology "experiments" can be avoided in the future?
